Vlog // Week in the Life // 01

And the vlogging begins! I feel like this is a super awkward thing to start getting into, but I've always loved the idea of filming my life and people around me. So we'll just see how this little project goes!

Life Update

Photographer: Saraya Joy Photography / Dress: Evelynn by Nicole Snobelen
I'm getting super excited for the future. I have big plans for both my business and Fresh Collidings. I've got collaborations coming up, photo shoot projects, mini sessions in the works, building up the team and just a bunch of new ideas floating around in my head.
I have a tendency to slow down on being creative in the summer, which you think that it would be the opposite, however the warm weather just means I'm busy with photographing weddings and I don't have a lot of time to do personal projects. But now that it's getting frisky outside, it means I'm becoming more free and finding myself again. This year has been all over the place and I'm ready to get some structure back.
When you graduate from college, you expect to have your life fall into place. I definitely thought that my business was just going to keep growing and I could stay on top of my blog posts. I was oh so very wrong about that. I was also so used to moving back home with my parents once each school year was done, but this time I had a little bit of a different path. After I finished my last year at college, I didn't move back home (bills), I bought a car (bills), had to start paying back OSAP (bills). So as you can see, I had to have found a part time job. Meaning that I didn't have a lot of time to really flourish in the creative world like I'd hoped for. But now is the time to turn my life around.
I kind of feel like I should be writing this at the end of December as my goals for 2016, but I'll probably have more ideas by then anyways and I've already started the planning. I want there to be blog posts waiting for you January first of 2016 to check out.
I'm teaming up with a bunch of adorable Etsy shops, not just for the new year but for the holiday season as well. I've got artists creating some very awesome posts that will pop up all throughout the next year which I'm so excited that they've agreed to help out with. One of my local role models have agreed to do a collaboration with me for the month of December, you'll find out soon who it is! I just bought a camera a few days ago so I can start vlogging a bit. Mostly right now, it's me awkwardly trying to film with people and laughing hysterically for no reason.. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. Hmmm, what else is there that I can get you hyped up about for Fresh Collidings? I should really start writing these things down! Anyways, I'm sure I'll blabber away some time in the future about all my ideas. So for now, thanks for reading and I hope you have a wonderful week!
xoxo. Maria
