This past Sunday I had the pleasure of taking a small road trip to Detroit with my good friend Saraya and we had a lunch stop at Healthy Mama in Tecumseh. We ordered the Acai Smoothie Bowl, Taco Salad & All About the Avo Sandwich. Not only were we extremely impressed with how amazing the food was, but the whole aesthetic of the restaurant was on point!
The inside consisted of a minimalist vibe with a mix of greenery. They had vines coming off the ceiling on one half of the room, with vases with freshly picked flowers as cute centrepieces and they had their menu graphic'd so beautifully that it fit Healthy Mama's theme so well!
The food was 100% Instagram worthy - it looked so pretty being carried to our table by their super nice servers. But when you ate the food, you felt like a whole new person! I just felt instantly healthy but it was the most delicious lunch I could have asked for.
I personally give Healthy Mama a 5/5 stars on food quality, aesthetic & service!
